Physician - Palliative Medicine position in Virginia
Sentara RMH Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or recently Board-Eligible physician in Palliative Medicine to join our established team to see patients for symptom management as well as complex medical decision making. In addition to an inpatient consultative service, our team of advanced practice providers sees patients in our Outpatient clinic. Our collegial group consists of one physician who also serves as our Medical Director, three Nurse Practitioners, an RN, LCSW and Chaplain. While this is mainly an inpatient position, our team occasionally sees patients in the outpatient clinic and has a collaborative working relationship with the staff at Sentara's Hospice. The practice is well respected and strongly supported by other physicians, administration and senior leaders.
