The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Otolaryngology is seeking a BC/BE ENT Surgeon.

The Department of ENT offers a wide spectrum of services in the surgical care of patients with ear, nose, and throat related problems. Both major and minor surgeries are performed by expert surgeons in this Department, ranging from tonsillectomies to surgical intervention and correction of cleft palates, head and neck cancers to facial reconstructions, and from cochlear ear implants to thyroid surgeries. Drs. Joehassin Cordero, Joshua C. DemkeWinslo Idicula, and Tam Nguyen are active surgeons, researchers, and authors in the field of Otolaryngology (ENT).

Candidates will develop and participate in growing an otolaryngology practice involving all subspecialties and will be expected to participate in medical student education and be closely involved in general surgery residency program. Research and other academic pursuits are available and desired.  Texas medical license is a plus or must be eligible for State of Texas licensure.  Rank is commensurate with experience/background. 

The department of Otolaryngology has recently established an ENT residency. The successful candidate will be expected play an important role in the development and running of the resident training program with Dr. Cordero, the Division Chief and Program Director.
